| Sun City

Sun City in Arizona is comprised of approximately 30,000 plus homes
that are priced between 50,000 and 350,000 depending on the location of
the property, around the two Lakes, on the Golf Courses or in other
areas. There are Condos, duplexes, garden and terrace apartments,
and single family homes of every size, shape and description.
Recreation Centers abound and most house swimming pools, exercise and
workout areas, outside Bocce Ball and Shuffleboard courts, tennis courts
and eleven golf courses, nine of which are owned by the home owners of
Sun City.
Sun City was built in three phases, beginning in 1960 and now ranges
from Olive Drive on the South to Beardsley Drive on the North end and
extends from 91st to 113th Streets from East to West.
Sun City has social, activity clubs and organizations for the most
demanding hobbyist. Sun City also has an abundance of strip and
shopping malls with restaurants offering good old American bill of fare
and ethnic food choices for the most discriminating pallet.
The people of Sun City are joiners with a volunteer spirit.
After finishing with their respective club duties they don their
volunteer mantles and hurry off to the Sheriff’s Posse, Boswell Memorial
Hospital or to the many recreational activities that need volunteer help
to survive.
The Sun City Prides, a large group of volunteer workers save Maricopa
County hundreds of thousands of dollars each year by picking up litter,
fixing sprinklers, trimming trees and generally keeping Sun City
beautiful and clean.
All in all, it’s a great place to live and retire. |
